I've checked the official website and although it can be downloaded and installed for free, there is no mention about the license validity for this package, but there is a buy link that you can access to purchase a license for the Plus version.
I recommend accessing the buy page to check the price because I've seen there are many other versions of the software that you can buy.

Yes, you can access this application on Android as well, because it's compatible and available in the Play Store application. You can either use the Store app in your phone or use the link below, log-in with the same email attached to phone and proceed with the installation.
The backup feature is not visible in the Android version. Is there a way to back up the data on an Android tablet? It works perfectly on the iPad version. The Android version doesn't just have the option.

If the application doesn't have a backup feature, simply install Titanium Backup and you will have the possibility to back up its data and the APK file. If you plan to install it later, simply restore the backup created with the same application and that's it. You can find Titanium Backup on the Play Store.
The Plus version allows you to run multiple businesses from the same program as well as access data and create invoices. The free version allows you to have 5 businesses in one time.
I had been using Express Invoice for a couple of months. I upgraded the RAM on my Macbook, and now the invoices are only viewable (and printable ) in landscape format. How do I change back to a Portrait view?

You can change the layout from the Settings menu under Invoice Layout > Paper Size.
